The two base URLs to know
Almost every tool asks for a base URL and a key. Which URL depends on the protocol the tool speaks and the kind of key you bought:

Set up any tool in one command
The ScaleMax installer detects supported tools, asks for your key and writes the matching settings. It needs Node.js 18.19 or newer.

Which base URL do coding tools need for ScaleMax?
OpenAI-compatible tools use https://api.scalemax.pro/v1 with a Pay as you go key or https://api.scalemax.pro/token/v1 with a token pack. Native Claude tools such as Claude Code use the origin https://api.scalemax.pro (or https://api.scalemax.pro/token) without /v1.
Can one key work in several tools at once?
Yes. A key is not tied to a client. Use the same key in Claude Code, Cursor and Cline; usage from all of them draws on the same prepaid balance.
Which tools can the ScaleMax installer configure?
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor (macOS), Cline, Roo Code, Continue, OpenCode, Hermes Agent and a few others. Run npx scalemax@latest and choose the tool. Kilo Code, Aider and Zed are set up by hand.
