Two accounting modes
Published-price USD balance
Supported input and output tokens draw down a prepaid credit balance at the public ScaleMax rate for the selected model. API-credit keys can cover supported OpenAI-compatible and Claude-compatible routes.

Fixed prepaid token allowance
Choose Claude, OpenAI, combined Claude + OpenAI, Gemini, Grok, Qwen, Local Models, or an exact-model token entitlement. The allowance counts provider-reported total input plus output tokens.

API-credit packs
The balance is denominated in internal USD usage credits and is not withdrawable cash. It is consumed at the public model rates shown in the live catalog.

Payment fees
Product cards show the base price. The live checkout adds the selected provider fee and shows the exact charged total before redirect or confirmation.
The dashboard checkout is authoritative for available packs, provider fees, scope, validity, and the final amount due.
